This photo is one of the shots that I really like. There is so much emotion here in every face of the construction worker. India is a horrible place to visit because you really see some people in need and you feel terrible to see the hunger and poor inhabitants of the street.
I took this sitting in a taxi on my way to the next meeting. I was meeting 7 companies in 7 days across Banglore, Delhi, and Mumbai on this trip and it was hectic! We got kidnapped by a taxi gang in Mumbai where they cheated us for 20€ altogether whereafter they placed us on another taxi to our final destination. The experience of where they are taking us and what will happen now is just horrible. Be careful if you go there and only use pre-paid taxi services from the airport.

I did not plan this shot and the spontaneousness of it makes it even more delightful. I had absolutely no idea of composition at this time and knew nothing about photography. I just saw this van full of construction workers on their way to work in the morning. The way they are all posing looks like something taken out of a movie in my opinion. They all show emotion. They know where they are going. They know when they come back. They know what their next move is because it is already made for them. The sign up ahead saying "What's your next move?" is just a tremendous combination with these guys' facial expression. The other thing I like about the composition is that there is so much going on here. The guy on the right is taking a moment waiting to cross the street while the motor cycle in front of him is starting up his engine to continue off.
We were driving at least 80 km per hour and the shutter speed saved me together with the bright lighting that made it possible to take this picture with my IXUS 65 :-)
